For me it's hard to think of a more beautiful place. I want to capture it on canvas but my father, a water colourist, did it so much better. I am not sure I even want to try.

I was born Mary Elizabeth Peckham in New Inn Monmouthshire. I am a painter working from studios in Cardiff and the South of France. I am passionate about painting landscapes and take my inspiration from the Post-War Paris painters. Giacometti and Nicolas de Stael have had the most influence on my painting.
